Wholesome Babies

Infancy is a precious and unique time where growth and development are occurring rapidly. My practices with babies are aimed at supporting breastfeeding through diet, supplements and lifestyle. Research has proven that not all breast-milk is alike and that the nutrients in breast-milk are based largely on the dietary intake of mom. Mom's prenatal vitamins are not the same as the natural make-up of nutrients found in foods. For babies that are formula fed, I offer additional supplemental support to ensure they are getting all their essential nutrients.

For families struggling with colic, reflux and other digestive issues in babies, prescription medication can be avoided with proper nutrition education. Supporting both mom's and baby's digestion can aid dramatically in the reduction of these issues and allow mom a break from colic and fussiness. After all a healthy baby is a happy baby.

Babies naturally have weak and immature digestive systems, making the introduction of solid foods a critical time to support the growing digestive system. Mom's milk remains the main source of nourishment but I have seen many babies thrive at the introduction of solids. I have also seen the direct opposite when this precious time is not handled properly.

Many of the issues that toddlers deal with can be prevented by the care they receive as infants and babies. It is my joy to offer that care as soon as possible to give each child the best platform to grow from :)

  1. Breast milk is very important issue for newborn baby. So we have to ensure their proper nutrition & vitamin.
If you're breast-feeding and going back to work or looking for more flexibility, you're probably considering using a breast pump. Once you start pumping, it's important to know how to safely store your expressed milk. Consider these do's and don'ts for breast milk storage.

  2. that is a very important post. As a mom i would like to say we should feed our baby breast milk because it contains efficient nutrition, calcium & A to z vitamin. Which can be helped your baby to develop their mental growth.
